Goran Dević
(Croatia)

Author of documentary and fiction films, awarded in Croatia and abroad. Together with Zvonimir Jurić, he directed the awarded feature film The Blacks (2009), proclaimed by critics as the best Croatian (anti)war film.

Goran Dević was born in Sisak, Croatia, in 1971. He studied law, archaeology and film art at Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb, Croatia. His filmography includes several documentaries and short films; he is also director and script writer of one feature film. He is the founder of 15th Art Production (Petnaesta umjetnost) - a film production company. Teaches documentary film at the Academy of Dramatic Arts.
