Adam Martinec
(Czech Republic)

Born and raised on Czech-Polish border with specific love for this part of the country. First he studied philosophy and film theory in Olomouc, then directing at FAMU (Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) in Prague. Inspired and influenced by the works of current and past film giants, he made several short films, his most notable success is a short film Sugar and Salt shot during his studies at FAMU which toured film festivals all around the world and won several awards.
