City World is a doc-hybrid set in the physical and psychological wastelands of Orlando Florida. A young boy narrates an adventure tale that slowly swivels from a historical fantasy to his own harrowing familial reality. Populated entirely by plants, animals, roads and architecture, the film's visuals are completely devoid of humans, while the sound is immersive and otherworldly. City World is a contemplative meditation on modern life, history, myth, nature, and theme parks.
