“I express what I’m living through. I don’t think about it, I just do it,“ says Karel Malich. In the course of 15 years, the documentary has followed his works, his recollections of childhood, his parents and his magic native region, as well as his opinion on nature, natural sciences and football. In 1974, he said: “The faith in art and ethics seems to disappear. Everybody just wants to live. Nothing more.” Perhaps this is true today as well. However, not about him and his works. In 26 minutes, the documentary maps the sources and ways of inspiration of his works.
