Pregnant Mariena and her cousin Roman live with their families in a poor Roma village in the East of Slovakia. They both admire the Czechoslovak pop stars Karel Gott and Dara Rolins. They like the singers’ lifestyle and their songs. Mariena and Roman decide to send them a DVD with a videomessage and a Roma remix of their hit single “Zvonky šťastia” (The Bells of Happiness). The film follows the process of creating the message on the backdrop of life in the village.
Slovak subtitles are available for download only in DVD format.
