Emanuel came to Norway in 2003 and claims to be from Liberia. Norwegian authorities believe he is from Ghana. Twice he was sent “back”, only to be rejected by the Ghanaian authorities and returned to Norway. Without permission to stay and no legal possibility to leave, Emanuel’s life is put on hold. Will he be able to prove who he really is?
