Flâneu®'s passages is the product of seven years of journeys, made out of 150 hours of video material with scenes from Berlin, Leipzig, Brussels, Thessaloniki, Prague, Athens, Kassel, Naoussa, Erfurt, Krakow.

In true flaneur like fashion Konstantinos-Antonios Goutos creates audio-visual links and dialogues between these places and classical Western of philosophers and authors like Benjamin, Kracauer, Barthes, Baudelaire, Borges, Camus, Foucault, Goethe, Hallberg, Kafka, Kierkegaard, Lorca, Meyrink, Musil, Rilke.

These connections allow the director to draw out themes around: ‘Existence’, ‘Home’, ‘Flight’, ‘Time’, ‘Escape’, ‘Beauty’, ‘Coincidence’, ‘Information’, while questing the place of the Flaneur, and adding to key concepts such as: Genius Loci, Aura, Heterotopias, Unhappy Consciousness, Homo Ludens, and the Studium/Punctum.
