The bureau of missing persons does its best to trace them with the help of long lists and interviews with relatives, comparing the collected data with that of prisoners. The camera follows the administration’s efforts while depicting the difficult task of tracing missing people, and showing us that there are sometimes very good reasons for leaving home.
