Václav Klaus arrived to the harvest celebration to the Polabí region where apart from other symbolic gestures, such as sitting behind the wheel of a combine, harvesting the last spikes, giving a speech in the fertile regions, as well as giving a toast in order to re-connect to the tradition of his presidential predecessors from the First Czechoslovak Republic, as well as from the communist era.
