A low-level flight is a story from 1960's and 70's of relationship of Káťa and Franta who was an ace fighter pilot in the Czechoslovak army.
Káťa was captivated by Franta. He was not only an attractive man, but also a purposeful and determined personality. Therefore she tolerated his career of fighter pilot in the Czechoslovak army. She ,with the family, accompanied him on his study stays in the USSR. They start to alienate because of Franta’s fondness of alcohol and the marriage gets ruined. Franta’s fighter pilot career soon ends by his unfortunate death.
