Nizhny Tagil, September 2021. Gosha Gordienko, frontman of the rock band Lazy Comet, and Matthew Bedin meet to work on “Ya Videl” for the band’s unfinished album. A postscript to the Narodnaya cycle, I Saw preserves a moment of friendship and artistic creation — a memory of a world that has since changed, and an attempt to return to it through cinema.
