Angela and Jair survive by fishing for food from day to day on volcanic rocks battered by ocean waves. They share a strained relationship and lead a precarious existence. In their fishing village, which is turning into a tourist spot, Angela and Jair come across big-game fishing enthusiasts who pay fortunes to come and catch the blue marlin, the cheetah of the seas, and who are in the running to win the “Blue Marlin World Cup”.
