Heroínas is a pseudo-documentary which shows a cult of women dedicated to the veneration of the skull of the Peruvian Independence warrior Tomasa Ttito Condemayta, in the town of Acomayo, Peru, during 2021.

250 years after the death of the heroine, various women from the area identify with this female figure whom inspires them with courage, strength and determination, and come to venerate her at the home of 94 year-old Doña Natividad Villafuerte, who preserves and takes care of this skull in a living room of her house. With devotion, these women leave any type of sharp weapon
at the base of the urn, with the hope that their requested wishes will be fulfilled in return.
