Credentialing is a film based on the case of Adam Vycital, who almost bled to death in Pardubice Hospital in 2017 after a routine tonsil operation. Together with my brother, who is a pediatrician at Thomayer Hospital in Prague, we began to deal with a story that would show the doctor in such situation. We left the real background of the case and created the character of a beginning doctor, who has to face the profession difficulties and especially the imperfections of the Czech healthcare system.
