This colour documentary film portrays the nude photographer Gundula Schulze. Individual scenes with Gundula Schulze are accompanied by everyday scenes of working cashiers in a department store. Schulze talks about her profession and the difficulties of putting the whole personality of the women in the right light in her photos, thus being an antithesis to the superficial nude photos that are available everywhere. Furthermore, the photographer vividly reports about her efforts to take away the fear and shame of the portrayed women by trusting them, so that her whole character is captured and the position of the portrayed woman in today's society is taken into account. This film presents the photographer and her work, and allows the viewer to experience her creative process.
