In the 1980s, in some rural areas, almost 50% of the women are mothers by age 16. They have their families in charge, facing with them the injustice of the social, historical and political violence. Through the story and testimony of a woman in a village in the Delta, Atteyat al-Abnoudi tells of the dreams of women who struggle to give their daughters a better life.
