Girls is a portrait of a couple - Anna and Edie, whose common passion is drag kinging. The heroines in their free time dress up as men and organize stage performances. We observe their daily lives and as they prepare for the subsequent performances in which they tame stereotypical and oppressive masculinity. It is the story of girls who take the trouble to build relationships and peruse fulfilment in a conservative country.
