Self-portrait of the “Cali Group”, also known as “Caliwood”, a group of cinephiles who, in the midst of the wild partying and the historical chaos of the 1970s and 80s, was able to produce a body of work that is a fundamental part of Colombia’s film heritage. It is also the medical history of the filmmaker, who fell gravely ill during the production of the film. It’s both the story of a generation and of a survivor.
