A film about three sisters living in a Roma settlement in the Polish mountains. Cassandra, Soraja and Clara are typical teenagers who are interested in cosmetics, talk about jewellery and fashion. They feel lost in Polish society, like strangers, despite the fact that they have lived here for many generations. The girls say little about their future. They dream about working as cleaners or hairdressers. They know one thing – they will soon be married and have children. The camera observes the everyday life of the Roma in their “ghetto”. The traditional Roma songs truly encapsulate their feelings.
A Polish Film Institute Co-financed Production.
