What would you do to deal with a stressful job, personal troubles and trauma from the past? “240 kilometers in 52 hours”. Seems extreme? It’s the only goal for three participants of ultramarathon in Poland. They stop at nothing, they wrestle with unbelievable exhaustion and acute pain. After a couple of hours they start to feel faint and suffer severe contusions. For some reason they keep running. They discover that only during the run, they feel truly alive. They go beyond their limits and experience extreme pain, struggle and ultimetley – joy. Film illustrates the community of long-distance runners to show their motivation, formidable ambition and willpower. It focuses on radical emotions – fatigue, fear, doubt, fortitude and euophoria of overcoming self-limits.
