Konrad lives in a small mining town in southern Poland. An 18-year-old bodybuilder who wants to be an actor, he desperately fights for his absent father’s attention. In his attempts to get noticed, he admires his favorite action movie heroes, spends hours at the gym, and signs up for a bodybuilding competition. His inner conflict between who he is and who he thinks he should be, soon leads to depression. His life changes after he revisits his childhood passion for acting. Will he find his own path?

International premier took place at DOK Leipzig the film was awarded at IDFA Amsterdam in student competition. Call me Tony was selected to the main competition at the 15th edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity, and awarded with the honorable mention at ZagrebDox.
