A tragicomedy based on the best-selling novel by Josef Formánek, inspired by his real-life experiences. The story follows four patients fighting addiction, who find themselves in the most difficult period of their lives. However, even under these circumstances, they manage to joke around and share a laugh. Josef, the main character and narrator of the story, is a writer, who is undergoing treatment for the very first time. During his stay in the facility, Josef meets other people just like him and is confronted with their life stories. Josef’s perspective, words, actions and merciless sarcasm accompany us as we watch him embark on a journey to save his life. And help us uncover what made him pick up the bottle for the very first time.
