‘Luiz Roberto Galizia was an important figure for the Brazilian theatrical scene in the 1970s and 1980s. He was also my uncle that I never had the chance to meet. Unconfessions is a documentary that seeks to establish a relationship that was never realised. I attempt this process through archival records, in the form of photographs and super 8 footage, made by my uncle Luiz. These records have been lost for thirty years since my uncle’s death, and our now being shown for the first time.’ Ana Galizia
