Recovering Industry is an experimental film that layers various images of the Czech automotive, chemical, and construction industries from 2009 to the present. These phases and modes conceptually combine with editing techniques, particularly through types of dissolves, to create a palimpsestic image. Economic crisis and recovery are enmeshed in varying sharpness, colour, saturation, and brightness, representing how these cycles that are embedded within one another.
