The film was conceived from two images: a heavily industrial factory and its workers and the morning routine of an elderly couple. In a series of tableaux, a slow morning is examined in great detail. Workers at the factory are hammering away, welding and operating heavy machinery while peace reigns at the old couple's home. The heavy sounds of the factory die out as sun clears away the rain. Images from two unrelated places coincide in the same time-line and gradually harmony sets in.

This film is not currently online :(

But no worries. There are more just like it in our new program.
