Somewhere in the desert in Arizona there is a perfect town. Surprise is a mediaeval fortress of sorts, separated from the rest of the world, and with entries as strictly controlled as at a military check-point. The inhabitants of Surprise, comfortably installed in their pleasurable wealthiness, describe how their cimmunity functions. With a hint of the horror film, the film reveals our society’s fear of the other and obsession with control.
