Michal and Jarek are two Polish émigrés. The former tries to persuade the latter to join him in playing roulette at the casino. A paradoxical attempt to encapsulate—no easy task—this first film that flirts with fiction and fable to better narrate the exile of these two characters who play their own parts in an unspecified country.
